Millersville University has been recognized for its affordability and quality of education on both the state and national level.
Great College Deals (GCD) recently included MU on its list of the “20 Best Deals on Small Colleges in Pennsylvania.” The online guide seeks to provide prospective college students with rankings of the top affordable universities across the country. GCD cited Millersville University’s military-friendly practices, high return on investment and campus diversity as factors for its ranking.
In an analysis of the 2013 through 2016 academic years, the Student Loan Report ranked MU third in Pennsylvania for Total In-School Part-Time Job Compensation. This self-titled “one stop destination for student loans news” based their ranking on the amount of compensation provided to a college’s student body through on-campus part-time job opportunities.
Washington Monthly recognized Millersville University in their 2016 Washington Monthly College Guide as one of the top Master’s Universities in the nation. The organization ranks schools based on social mobility for low-income students, innovative research and community service. MU secured the 42nd position in a list of over 600 schools across the United States.
