The 32nd Annual Brossman Foundation and Ronald E. Frisbie Science Lectureship on November 17 featured more than the guest speaker; it also included a 100 question exam!
Dr. Hazel A. Barton, a biology professor at the University of Akron presented the lecture titled “Living in the Dark: From Caves to the Stars.”
During the day, students from the region competed in the 2016 Brossman Frisbie Science Lectureship exam. Teams of two, from a total of 19 schools and seven counties, participated. The exam consisted of 100 questions; 10 from each of the nine different departments in Science and Technology, and one “Science in the News” question.
