New Ranking for the 'Ville

Ranking based on selectivity, advancement, prestige, resources, costs, diversity and community.

 

Business-First-logoMillersville University has been named to the 2016 list of top public universities in Pennsylvania. According to Buffalo Business First, MU comes in at No. 9 among public universities in the Commonwealth.

The top nationwide public universities list is broader, encompassing 477 public institutions that grant bachelor’s degrees and have enrollments greater than 1,000 full-time students. MU was ranked 227 nationally.

Representing the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education, Slippery Rock University (No. 4) and West Chester University (No. 5) were also listed.

Rankings for the top public universities in Pennsylvania were determined by selectivity, advancement, prestige, resources, costs, diversity and community of each qualified public university. Admission rate, retention rate and graduation rate were among the factors considered for the rankings.
