Construction Underway: Gordinier is expanding

Gordinier to get outdoor seating!

Gordinier Large-View 1Millersville University is renovating one of its central buildings, Gordinier Hall and Conference Center. Construction is in full swing and will accelerate throughout the summer. Gordinier will be closed for the summer, starting May 9 and reopening for the fall 2016 semester in late August.

Gordinier Hall, which houses Millersville University’s largest dining facility and the Bolger Conference Center, is undergoing a major renovation and expansion. Located close to the new residential complexes, Gordinier is the main dining hall on campus as well as the center of catering services.

The two-phased construction plan includes updating all the appliances and mechanics in the existing building. New features will include a 21,000 square foot addition with a new lobby and outdoor patio with seating.

Due to the building closing during the summer, The Cyber Café and The Cove will be open, along with the North Side Bistro and the Galley to accommodate students, faculty and staff.
