"Fair is foul, and foul is fair": MU performs “Macbeth”

Macbeth Opens Nov. 12 and Global Entrepreneurial Week runs Nov. 16029

A cast of 15-20 student actors will take the stage at Millersville University and act out the thrilling tragedy, “Macbeth” written by William Shakespeare. Macbeth, played by Juan Morales and his wife, Lady Macbeth, played by Cara Clase, attempt to gain the throne through ambition, murder and madness.

Directed by Tony Elliot, performances are scheduled for Nov. 12, 13 and 14 at 8 p.m. and Nov. 15 at 2 p.m. at Clair Performance Hall located at the Winter Visual Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $10 for general admission and $7 for senior citizens, and may be purchased online at MUTicketsOnline.com or at the Student Memorial Center Ticket Office, The Ware Center or by calling the Box Office at 717-871-7600.

 

Global Entrepreneurial Week Aims to Inspire

Global Entrepreneurial Week aims to inspire people through activities designed to show them that they have the potential to be self-starters and innovators. The Millersville University Entrepreneurial Leadership Center (ELC) will be hosting events for students in celebration of Global Entrepreneurial Week.

Events will be held from Nov. 16 to 20 and include a panel discussion, entrepreneurial talks, a student showcase that will serve free ice cream and an open house at the Entrepreneurial Leadership Center.

Mon., November 16: Art of Entrepreneurship Talk

11 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. in Dutcher Hall

Join members of the introductory course to listen and discuss entrepreneurship with a local entrepreneur.

Tues., November 17: Global Entrepreneurship Student Showcase

11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the Student Memorial Center (SMC) Atrium

See what student entrepreneurs are doing, while enjoying free ice cream!

Wed., November 18: Art of Entrepreneurship Talk

11 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. in Dutcher Hall

Join members of the introductory course to listen and discuss entrepreneurship with a local entrepreneur.

Thurs., November 19: Global Entrepreneurship Week Panel Discussion

7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. in Myers Auditorium, McComsey Hall

Explore and learn about different perspectives of entrepreneurship during this discussion followed by a Q & A.

Fri., November 20: Entrepreneurial Leadership Center Open House

10 a.m. – 5 p.m. in the Adams House (corner of George and Frederick Street)

Meet the staff of the ELC and learn about on-campus resources for students interested in entrepreneurship. Raffles, games, food and light refreshments will be provided.
