Relay For Life is a 12-hour long fundraising event for the American Cancer Society. Millersville’s Colleges Against Cancer hosted Relay For Life on Feb. 6 from 4 p.m. to Feb. 7 at 4 a.m. in the Marauder Court in the Student Memorial Center. There was a variety of competitions and events to keep the 267 students, faculty and staff active throughout the night. All participants worked together to raise a total of $17,150 to help fight back and put an end to cancer.
Millersville has opened the wrestling ring for professionals to take the mat. On Jan. 20, the Pucillo Gym was roaring with excitement for the Icebreaker event, hosted by Three Legacies Wrestling. The audience was kept on the edge of their seats as legacies were forged, rivalries settled and champions were crowned between over a dozen wrestlers in thrilling matches. <br /> <br /> Three Legacies Wrestling is an organization based in Lancaster, PA with a commitment to training wrestlers and entertaining the masses, founded by former WWE superstar Ricardo Rodriguez and local businessman Christopher Dreisbach.<br /> <br /> After other electrifying experiences over the last few months, the ‘Ville is ready to rumble again! “A New Dawn” will be held on April 27 at 7 p.m. in the Pucillo Gym. In addition to a stacked lineup, the main event will include a fatal 4-way match, where current 3LW Champion J.S. Hawthorne defends his title. Millersville students have the opportunity to purchase discounted tickets for $5 online and at the door.
