With the arrival of spring, sunshine and warm weather, Millersville University will host its annual Superfest on May 2 and 3. The theme of this year’s Superfest is Hollywood and Millersville University’s Student Activities Board has planned a variety of activities for students to take part in.
At 6 p.m. on May 2, there will be a Murder Mystery Dinner in Lenhardt. Later, at 9 p.m. on the Quad, there will be a showing of the film “The Perks of Being a Wallflower,” starring Emma Watson.
A Lip Sync and Karaoke Contest will take place on May 3 at 6 p.m. on the Quad. At 9 p.m. in the SMC Multipurpose Room, there will be a Think Fast Trivia Game Show that will feature a $200 cash prize.
Superfest on the Quad plans to go from noon – 4 p.m. on both days. “Superfest on the Quad will feature inflatables such as a Titanic slide and an iceberg obstacle course,” says Courtney Hunsberger, special events co-chair of the UAB. “There will also be student organization tables with various games and activities, cotton candy, popcorn, a dunk tank and red carpet photos, as well as a bunch of giveaways.”
These events are free and open to all Millersville students.
