Millersville University and the Hershey Links have been selected to host the 2011 NCAA Division II Men’s Golf East/Atlantic Regional Championship. The four-day event will be held May 1-4. Volunteers are needed for each day of competition.
Some of the volunteer needs include greenside reporters, scorers, starters, scoreboard operators, shuttle drivers, marshals and spotters. Each volunteer receives a meal per work shift, and for two shifts worked, a volunteer receives a complimentary round of golf at Hershey Links.
Established in 2002, Hershey Links is one of four courses that compose the Hershey Golf Collection. The Links has been featured in local and national publications including Golfweek, Golf Magazine and GolfStyles Philadelphia. Additionally, the 18-hole course was included in the list of America’s Top Golf Courses in the 2009-2010 Zagat Survey.
