Hill Harper, Esq., actor and author, will give a lecture, “Motivating Young Men to Be the Architect of their Life,” at Millersville University, April 11 (it had originally been scheduled for March 18) at 7:30 p.m.
Harper is best known for his recurring role as Sheldon Hawkes in “CSI: NY,” a spin-off of the hit television show, “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” on CBS. He is also known for his role in “Married…with Children,” on Fox.
Harper wrote three books, one of which, Letters to a Young Brother, won two NAACP awards and was named a Best Book for Young Adults by the American Library Association in 2007. The book was written for young, African-American, at-risk adolescents who have questions but have no one to answer them or guide them.
The lecture is sponsored by Millersville University’s College Chapter of NAACP and the Millersville University Black Student Union. This event will be held in Pucillo Gymnasium and is free and open to the public.
