Millersville 250 Kick-Off

The Millersville 250 committee announces a special kick-off evening community celebration to be held at Pucillo Gymnasium, Millersville University, Saturday, February 26, at 7 p.m. In honor of the year-long 250th anniversary, of one of the oldest boroughs in Lancaster County, “Dancing through the Decades” will include food and beverage, a ballroom exhibition and dancing (music by Smooth as Silk), fireworks, period clothing fashion, a historical photo display and a special cake made by Carlos’s Bakery of Hoboken, N.J., aka TV’s TLC’s The Cake Boss and a scheduled guest appearance.

Reservation deadline is February 14. All events are open to the public. During 2011, 16 events are scheduled in the Millersville community.
