Dr. Vilas Prabhu, provost and vice president for academic affairs, announced that Dr. Carol Phillips, associate provost emerita, will return to Millersville as the interim associate provost for academic administration effective January 1, 2011.
Phillips retired from the University in June 2006 after 21 years of service, most recently in the dual roles of executive assistant to the president and associate provost from 2003 to 2006. She will serve in this new role while a national search is undertaken for a permanent replacement for Dr. Thomas Burns.
