New PHEAA Grant /Veteran’s Coordinator at Millersville

Emiyaril Andino of Lancaster, Pa., was recently appointed Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) Grant/Veteran’s Coordinator at Millersville.  She graduated from J.P. McCaskey High School in Lancaster, where she became involved with the University through the Lancaster Partnership Program. She attended Millersville and graduated in 2006 with a degree in speech communication and in 2010 with a master’s degree in education.

After graduation, Andino worked at Fulton Financial Corporation, Sovereign Bank and was also a graduate assistant in the financial aid office at Millersville. She has been actively involved in the community by assisting with Celebrate Lancaster in the Mayor’s office, volunteering with WLCH 91.3 FM Lancaster’s Spanish radio station, the Humane League of Lancaster County and she is currently a peer mentor for the Lancaster Partnership Program at McCaskey High School.
