relfecting on my strategies

Using the reflection strategies has helped me dramatically understand what I am reading, I avoided highlighting and skimmed the first paragraph then the last, it encouraged me to want to read the entire article, I started to write down questions, after I did read the article, I answered all my questions. Reading strategies are very helpful, also removing myself from my peers helped me concentrate.

While reading I couldn’t really absorb the overall theme because some of the readings I read were difficult, and many terms I didn’t really understand as it was advanced for my level, but I did define them. I wrote down all the words I didn’t understand, and defined them.

I would like to read more, and try to understand the overall meaning on the article, as I read in English and anthropology. I’m going to try more of reading it and reviewing it and even reading it again

Rush – alj

You wanna do a sport, but you don’t wanna do something that could require too much time and one of your first choices or options would be track and field. Running, sounds easy right? but what does it really take to simply run after the gun blows, well first off track is more than just running, it could be throwing yourself as far as you can, reaching for the sky or maybe the moon, throwing a weight to soar in the sky like a hawk or a bullet and land for a record, or my favorite exploding off to plant your weapon to help you rocket into the air over the electric wire everyone fears to come in contact with, pole vault. Track is full of things to try favorite place could be the mat, the blocks, the sand pit, or even the hurdles. I cant argue with a simple sport with a abstract field, The experience of running sounds horrifying but, to me its more than breathing in your mouth and out your nose, your in the twilight zone, people are screaming you cant think of nothing else but the finish line, as an over thinker running can be one of the most relaxing things, your mind becomes clear, not that I don’t appreciate thinking, running is an escape its the great escape from your some of your biggest problems, it doesn’t last forever and that’s the beauty of it, the sweat. I choose learning by experience one of the key things to taking a grasp on learning.
