My goal is to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from Millersville University and begin a career in the construction and building industry. Throughout my four years at Millersville, I plan to develop a strong foundation in project management, building systems, estimating, safety, and field operations. I will keep my progress by maintaining at least a 3.0 GPA each semester, completing all program requirements on schedule, and securing at least one internship with a construction company by the summer after my sophomore or junior year.
To achieve this, I will stay consistent with my coursework, use campus resources such as tutoring services and career advising, and actively participate in class projects and labs that build real world skills. I will also look for opportunities to network with professionals, attend career fairs, and gain hands on experience through summer work in the construction field.
By graduation, I will be prepared for an entry level construction management position where I can contribute to planning, coordinating, and delivering successful building projects. With steady effort, clear steps, and the opportunities available at Millersville, this goal is both realistic and achievable.
