The Tell School of Music is proud to celebrate the success of recent graduate (May 2026 in the B.S. Music Industry – Live Audio Production Concentration) Ethan Bathurst, who has secured a full-time position with Clair Global’s Console Department, beginning in May 2026.
Ethan’s journey is a strong example of how hands-on learning, internships, and industry connections can open real doors for students pursuing careers in live audio. During his time at Millersville, Ethan completed an internship with Clair Global, the world-renowned live sound production company headquartered in Lititz, Pennsylvania. There, he worked in the Console Department under Millersville alum Sam Kelly, gaining valuable experience in the day-to-day demands of professional touring audio support.
As an intern, Ethan worked on testing and updating consoles returning from tours, preparing new consoles for deployment, setting up I/O on stage boxes, assisting with full rig integration, and supporting important shop operations such as cable wrapping and looming. These experiences gave him direct exposure to the systems and workflows used on major tours around the world.
Just as importantly, the internship helped Ethan grow in confidence and clarify his professional path. Through the experience, he discovered a passion for shop work and flourished in a collaborative, high-level production environment. His strong work ethic and technical ability made an impression, ultimately leading to a full-time job offer.
Ethan’s success highlights the kind of opportunities available to Millersville students through immersive training and meaningful industry partnerships. His story shows how preparation, professionalism, and a passion for the craft can lead directly to a career with one of the most respected companies in the live event industry.
We congratulate Ethan on this exciting next step and look forward to seeing all he will accomplish at Clair Global!
