We’re proud to celebrate three Tell School of Music students who have been inducted into the Cygnus Society, Millersville University’s most prestigious student honor. This recognition highlights their outstanding academic achievement, leadership, and commitment to service.

Each year, a select group of up to 12 students is chosen through a rigorous application and interview process to become members of the Cygnus Society. The university president makes final selections.

Three music majors were selected to join the Cygnus Society this year. During the induction ceremony, graduating senior Kylie Calogero delivered an address to the new inductees. She is from Hanover, Pennsylvania and a senior dual majoring in Music Education and Vocal Performance. Jovanne Cortez, a junior from Allentown, Pennsylvania, is pursuing a double major in Music Education and Vocal Performance. Cesar Rangel-Muñoz, a junior from Newport, Pennsylvania, is also double majoring in Music Education and Vocal Performance. Sydney Rauchut, a junior from Lebanon, Pennsylvania, rounds out the trio. She is pursuing a double major in Music Education and Music Industry with a concentration in Management.

We congratulate our music students’ achievements as they reflect the spirit and strength of the Tell School of Music—where students grow as musicians, educators, and entrepreneurs.
