Millersville University’s Tell School of Music recently had the incredible opportunity to participate in the 8th “Melody of Yangtze River: World Famous Music Institution, Exchange Performance Season,” hosted by the Wuhan Conservatory of Music. This event, held on November 28th, 2024, brought together 26 top music schools and orchestras from 10 countries. We’re excited to share that our involvement in this international festival was hugely successful!
Dr. Xun Pan and Professor Brandon Martinez performed as part of the event and did an outstanding job representing Millersville University. It was also a fantastic opportunity for our Music Education, Music Industry, and BA Performance Music students, who participated in a concert featuring classical and commercial music. The performance was a hit, and our students impressed audiences with their talent and musicianship.
It was an unforgettable opportunity for everyone to learn, exchange ideas, and build new connections in music, from participating in master classes to attending workshops. It was also a fantastic chance for our faculty and students to see what other top institutions are doing and bring those insights back to the Tell School of Music.
