Kylie Calogero has demonstrated exceptional academic excellence across various disciplines, including music education and psychology. Her dedication to learning is evident through her outstanding achievements, earning 155 credits with a 3.90 GPA while mentoring research and multiple scholarships. Consistently making the Dean’s List every semester, Kylie has excelled in the classroom and shown leadership in extracurricular activities.

Notable achievements include being named a McNairy Library Research Fellow in 2022, completing an honors thesis, presenting research at Made in Millersville, and studying abroad. These accomplishments reflect Kylie’s commitment to academic excellence and alignment with Dr. Ali-Zaidi’s mission of pursuing knowledge.

The Syed R. Ali-Zaidi Award for Academic Excellence is a prestigious honor recognizing outstanding graduating seniors who have excelled academically and contributed to their university community. Dr. Syed R. Ali-Zaidi, a charter member of the Board of Governors and an advocate for higher education, established the award through an endowment with the State System Foundation.
