The Tell School of Music is thrilled to celebrate the achievements of our music education alumni, Nicole Paulino (Class of ’04), who is proud to announce that one of her former students, Laila Erica Drew, has taken the Broadway stage by storm.

Laila Erica Drew, a talented alumna of C.W. Henry School, is now starring in the Tony Award-winning musical SUFFS.

Laila Erica Drew’s impressive career spans television, film, and the stage. She has appeared on popular shows like FBI: International, Law and Order: SVU, and Netflix’s Colin in Black & White.

On stage, Laila has a remarkable track record. She originated the role of “Melody” in a world premiere, Broadway-style musical for American Girl, and portrayed “Lex Harris” in Generation Me, the 2017 winner for Best Musical at the New York Musical Festival.

Laila’s success is a testament to the impact of dedicated educators like Nicole Paulino, who continue to inspire and shape the stars of tomorrow
