The Millersville International Piano Competition at Millersville University’s Tell School of Music will take place for the first time February 13 – 14, 2021.  Sixty pianists from all over the word applied to the competition, with applicants hailing from such countries as China, Korea, New Zealand, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Vietnam, Bulgaria and the United Kingdom, as well as the USA and Canada.  This year, the competition will be held virtually, and the event weekend includes master classes and workshops for student participants and registered teachers.  The acclaimed American pianist Spencer Myer will play a guest artist recital on Saturday, February 13 at 7:30 pm.  For more detailed information, please visit our webpage at https://www.millersville.edu/music/events/performances-and-contests/mu-keyboard-division-contest.php.  Zoom links for public events and performances of the prizewinners for each competition category will be posted on the Tell School of Music’s facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Millersvillepiano.
