Don't miss this special CD release concert by the Spatial Forces Duo is Dr. Jessica Lindsey and Dr. Christy Banks. This concert features their bass/clarinet duo which primarily performs music with electronic soundscapes pre-recorded from the world around us. Also featured on this concert is a compositions by Tell School of Music's own Rusty Banks. This event takes place on Sunday January 23, 2:30pm in Biemsderfer Hall at The Tell School of Music, Millersville University.

During the day we will have workshops to explore recording, production, and mixing for professional careers. Learn how to promote your band in our Artist Management Seminar, Bring a song and enhance your songwriting skills. Bring your instrument and play with a commercial music ensemble.
Our world-class program is a hidden gem in the central Pennsylvania area where our students are musicians first, and get to hone in on their music skills, but also learn music management skills, production skills, and live audio skills all within one degree program.
This action packed day is your opportunity to have a taste of the music industry, but also help you hone in what you need to know to compete in the world of the music industry. This is your day to explore!
This day is led by our professors Dr. Atticks, Dr. Estes, Dr. Jester, and Prof. Martinez who are leaders within their areas. They also know how to make learning all of this material fun and accessible. If you are brand new to this area or already have some background, this day is for everyone!
This event is free to all high school seniors and also includes lunch at no cost to you. More details will be sent upon registration. We look forward to seeing you at the event!

This week eight students from the Tell School travelled to Chicago for the 75th annual International Midwest Band and Orchestra Conference in Chicago. They attended dozens of presentations and concerts (including the US Army Field Band and the Count Basie Orchestra). Special thanks to the Millersville University Student Government Association for their assistance in making this happen. Faculty News – Album Release! Congratulations to Dr. Christy Banks, Assistant Chair of the Tell School of Music and Head of the Woodwind Area, for her release of the album “Little Spectacle”! Recorded as a part of Dr. Banks’s “Spatial Forces Duo” with Dr. Jessica Lindsey, the album of new music for clarinet, bass clarinet, and electronics is available through Albany Records. The album includes a track composed by Prof. Rusty Banks (“BiValve”). Prof. Banks also served as producer for the album.
