In the electronics assignment, we discussed the basics of completing a circuit and the idea that switches are used to cut power off by breaking the circuit connection. We were then tasked with creating our own miniature light display using a small piece of colored paper, some tape, conductive copper wire, and a pipe cleaner. As shown in the picture, I used the metal part on the inside of the pipe cleaner as a wire to allow for a 3D display. My switch worked by having a length of copper tape on a piece of paper able to swivel back and forth to connect and disconnect to the bottom of one length of pipe cleaner.

We also discussed some basic circuit diagrams, as can be seen in my notation of my display’sĀ circuit. This was a very fun project to design and experiment with while learning the basics of circuitry.
