Construction

This was also an entertaining lab workday, my team members were funny while working on the assignment.

The focus for this assignment was to make a device out of paper and have it be able to withstand the weight of a 2L bottle for over 10 seconds max.

3D Printing

I wish 3D printing was introduced in the beginning of the semester, I enjoyed this one a lot.

Building the required object was very entertaining with my group members, we all had a specific goal to achieve and the way we went about it was direct and interesting.

Safety Engineering

This assignment was intriguing.

I loved the theme of the toxic popcorn and where we had to come up with a device to move it from one container to the next while not going pass the warning perimeter.

The way our professor bodied this lab was fun and engaging. I do not have any pictures but know our group was in first.

Laser Engraving

This assignment was about laser engraving.

Overall it was a pretty cool lab we did.  Watching the machine do its magic was exciting to watch unfold and wrap myself in. I do hope I will get more experience with lasers in the future. Crafting our design was fun for me.

Typography

This experience was one where ‘the now’ should be humbled to what society has achieved. This assignment was all about letter pressing. We had the chance to use an original stamp press during class to get the feel of what it used to be like.

I do not have any pictures to show for this class assignment but will be adding what a letter pressers are:

Reflection Goals – Spring 2025

I have a direction already set needing explored, I came into school with my mind set on engineering. As the semester is close to an end, I’ve had a lot of revision to consider this whole period. My goals are as basic as they come: get a degree and use it while amplifying self development all the way. Basic it sounds. Everyone has direction needing amplified for there benefit.

Quote for this semester is: “The only rollers coasters that go straight are ones that show you something”. – me

Seeing where the oncoming years will take me as I flow with my direction.
