Things are looking good for our Baby Romain Lettuce plants on this fine Monday. They have grown quite bit over the weekend. It seems that 12 hours of light and 12 hours of dark are working out thus far. We opened up the front door to look at the nutrient solution and it is looking less foggy than when we first mixed the solution.
We decided to check the pH level of the water today as well. The average level is supposed to be around 5.5-6.5. We found our level to be around 7.3. To fix this we added about 1/4 teaspoon of pH Down to the nutrient solution. After a bit of time, we checked the level and it worked! Success!!! 🙂 All is well in the world.
