Learning By Doing Materials Processing Activity
For our first learning by doing activity, it was material processing in which we had to make a key chain from laser engraving, in order to complete it we had to create the design in Adobe which is a technology company that creates software applications with a creative design edge. If you look at the first image, that was the design that I created for my key chain. I decided to put my name and my phone number in case I lose my key, whoever finds it can locate me. In order to get the result right we had to get all the measurements right, be it the width, the height and the material in which we would do the laser engraving, which was a small wooden rectangle. In the second photo you can see the final result. One of the parts that gave me the most problems was creating the circle where the key chain would go in because I didn’t know if the thickness, I had made was correct, but in the end, everything turned out well and I always carry my key chain with me.
