Today we came in after a week of not being in the lab and noticed that some of our plants were looking a little droopy. We believe that the droopiness of the plants can be attributed to the amount of time the plants have gone without fresh solution added to the system. Also we discovered some algae that had started to grow. We cleaned out the tank and added fresh nutrient solution as well as checked and lowered the pH to 6. The growth of our plants ranges from 4 1/4″ to 6 3/4″. We are very pleased with our progress and are hoping to continue to have excellent growth.

Your system is doing very well. We added a fan to our system and that has really made a difference in strengthening the plants and making them stand up better. Maybe try to add a fan and see what happens. Good Luck!
Your system is kickin butt guys. From the start i was very impressed with the lack of algae growth. I for sure expect a lot of growth in the tank but it has proved me wrong. How do your roots seem to be doing? Is enough space to promote healthy growth?
