Erica and I chose to design and build a NFT hydroponics system for our Bio-related Technology class. This stands for nutrient flow technology.
Here are some finished product photos of our system.
Our system is constructed our of PVC and a recycled rubbermaid container. The nutrient solution is pumped our of the resivoir tank “rubbermaid container” through water line tubbing into the two PVC tubes. The water flows down the PVC as the rock well cubes holding the plans soaks up the solution. What ever that the cubes do not soak up flows back down into the resivior tank to restart the cycle.
