The lettuce is doing great!! The new lettuce is mixing and growing well with the remaining original lettuce. The PH of the old water was 7.5 and we added the new nutrients with a PH level of 6.3. By next Wednesday (Harvest Day) we should have a decent amount of developed lettuce!

We finally got the PH level down to normal. Our PH has been running extremely high for the past few weeks. Today the initial reading was 8.1 and after trial and error of adding more nutrients, the final PH in the new batch of water read 6.4. The plants should continue to grow well. They finally have a normal PH reading because it is slightly under 6.5 and our lighting is still set at 18 hours a day.
Monday April 20th!!
