Matthew 17

Matthew 17:7 NIV

[7] But Jesus came and touched them. “Get up,” he said. “Don’t be afraid.”

There are many instances in the Bible where people are told not to be afraid. If we truly have faith in God, and hope in the resurrection, then there should be nothing to fear. And yet, I still fear and worry. 

Matthew 17:20 NIV

[20] He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

At least I am in good company as it appears that the disciples were lacking faith as well.
