Things to Anticipate in April

The old saying goes “April showers bring May flowers”, which basically means that we can expect a lot of rain in April. Although you may not enjoy trudging around campus in gloomy weather, many fun and exciting things are happening at The Office of Global Ed. this month to help get us through the gray days until the flowers bloom in May!

(4/1) April starts off with April Fools ’ Day, pranksters everywhere will be gleefully causing mischief. Read our article about the history of April Fools ’ Day to learn more about this subject!

(4/1) If you’re looking for something fun to do in the evening on Friday, April 1st, join The Office of Global Education and Partnerships at First Friday in Lancaster City. There will be art galleries, food, and maybe even some music! Come in to The Office of Global Ed. to sign up today!ar118935085417124 (1)

(4/3) Gardening for the Center for Sustainability with MU-SPESEA will be happening on Monday, April 3rd at 2pm. Help garden the plots behind Huntington House and get to know some of your fellow MU students. Gloves and gardening tools will be provided. Sign up at the Office of Global Ed.!

(4/17) Asian and Friends Affiliation will be taking a trip to Philadelphia on April 17th for the Japanese Cherry Blossom Festival. There will be music, food, dance, and lots of Japanese culture! Keep an eye out for an email for more information about this event.cherry-blossom-680uw
