Study/Intern Abroad Information Session

Interested in studying or interning abroad? Want to have the experience of a lifetime all while continuing to make academic progress? Come to the Study/Intern Abroad Information Session on Tuesday, February12th in the SMC-MPR at 5pm. You’ll have the opportunity to speak with study abroad Program Coordinators, past study abroad students and current exchange students from our various international partner universities to learn more information about the study/intern abroad process. Millersville is pleased to welcome back Dr. John Janzekovic, Professor from the University of the Sunshine Coast, MU’s partner university in Queensland, Australia.  Dr. Janzekovic is on campus conducting a course entitled Australia and Asia-Pacific Politics for the Government & Political Affairs and International Studies Departments.  Welcome, Dr. Janzekovic!  We hope you are enjoying the brisk weather in the U.S.

Welcome Melitta Boon, University of the Sunshine Coast!

The Office of Global Education is pleased to welcome Melitta Boon, International Officer from the University of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia to campus on Tuesday, September 18.  Melitta will be here to share USC program information at two open houses in SMC Room 18 from 10-11 a.m. and 2:30-3:30 p.m.  Come talk to Melitta and learn all about opportunities for studying abroad in Australia!

Join Dr. Karen Rice on this study abroad course to enhance your knowledge, skills, and values for professional functioning within a diversity-embracing atmosphere.  Students will also participate in service-learning through volunteering at various NGOs in South Africa.

Millersville Welcomes Professor Pam Barnes!

Global Education welcomes Professor Pam Barnes, University of Lincoln, United Kingdom and Center for European Integration Research, France as a visiting lecturer in the International Studies Program this September and October.  Professor Barnes will be part of a teaching team for INTL 201:  Introduction to International Studies, offering a unit on Europe, along with MU faculty Drs. Robert Bookmiller (Middle East) and Angela Cuthbert (Africa).
