Going into the electronics activity, I had already had a substantial background with wiring and electrical materials as I was in a wiring class in high school and I’m currently in electronics 261 right now this semester. I do really enjoy wiring and diagnosing electrical problems on things, especially cars and things with engines. I wouldn’t mind going into some sort of electrical field as long as it’s not very math and physics heavy. For my card I made an ornament with a light at the top and when you press the right side and tap the left side, the light at the top will start flashing. I think this was a very basic idea I had, but it was cool to see the materials we used and how we put them together. I did have some trouble figuring out how to get the switch to work but after some trial and error I got it to work the way I wanted it to. I also liked the copper tape wire, and I had never seen that before and i thought it was pretty cool. In the future, as I said, I have an interest in electronics and figuring out wiring problems which I had to do for this assignment. I also would love to take more electrical classes seeing how im pretty interested in the way electronics work and how to diagnose problems. Overall, this assignment was probably the most fun one we have done just because of my interest in working with electronics.
