This activity focused mainly on the safety aspect and how engineering solutions to a given problem. This activity helps me understand the trial and error process a company takes to take care of problems with toxic spills. To which for this scenario, in groups we came up with ideas on how to safely transfer toxic materials into a contained area. We then demonstrated these ideas to see how well it would work, without touching any of the toxic, contaminated items and area.
