Electronics Activity
In this assignment we were told to create a circuit to be able to create light with a battery. We created a simple circuit that is functional and can be used as a switch for a light bulb. We were given materials to help create the 2-way circuits, including wires, batteries, paper clips, and rubber bands.
- We had to work in groups so it was great to hear everyone’s insight and ideas to contribute to the final circuit.
- I took away how a 2-way switch worked.
- I enjoyed having to talk through where we wanted to place our wires and what we wanted them to do.
- I was able to take away that current can run through anything that is a conductor. This includes paper clips, scissors, and even aluminum foil.
- I learned what an actual 2-way switch was and how it is used all over your home. I also was able to pick up new information on how we can join the wires to continue current through them.
