I developed a better idea of how 3D prints are translated into objects during the Learning by Doing 3D Modeling/Printing assignment. The computer modeling part really had me a little stumped, I had an “oh” kind of moment about how geometry and the structure can impact the print and when I saw my changes it went in the software. While long readings are less beneficial, doing a brief tutorial with the professor was helpful. Asking the people around me also helped and improved my understanding.
