The inventors’ workshop is filled with creative people, but creativity can only take us so far. We need tools, supplies, and at certain times specialized help.
Below is our list of current needs:
- VW bus transmission rebuild assistance (the inventors’ workshop students are very skilled, but we could use some assistance)
- Disc Brakes (front disc brake conversion kit for increased safety)
- 1970-71 vw bus Window/Door rubber and seals (Very much needed)
- Hand Tools – Vise Grip Clamps, Vise, Body hammers, sanding blocks, sander
- Sandblast box (we have parts we would like to sandblast before we add them to the bus)
- Drill Press / Mill (we are hoping to find a Bridgeport (BP), or something similar, because we use a BP in MU metal classes)
- Fabrication Table (Al supplied small one to get us started)
Shrinker & Stretcher(Eastwood.com is giving us a discount)Sandblasting Service for VW bus(Currently being blasted)
Vehicle Rotisserie(Al supplied)- Need by April 22nd – Vehicle wrap company to wrap bus with design created by one of MU students
- Air Compressor – large enough to run power tools and sandblast booth/box (at the moment we are limited to 110 volt versions until we can get the power in the garage redone.
