For the laser engraving project, I started by designing in Adobe Illustrator. I chose a font and decided to engrave my name onto a keychain. After finalizing the design, I transferred it to the laser engraver. On the engraver, I made sure to select the right material and adjust all the settings to ensure the engraving and cutting were done correctly. Once the process was complete, I removed the keychain and added the chain.
This is valuable for engineers because it shows how to apply precise details and finishing touches to a project, improving the overall quality and professionalism of the final product.
