Today Connor and I have been a little side tracked by the prosthetic project, so we were more than less neglected our hydroponics today. But rest assured we will do a full work up on it Monday morning.

Today was the first day back in under the solar light. It was all Thanksgiving at my house our of this great light source. Once it returned to the light it seemed to be a lot better off than after 2 large moves in a week. Everything else seemed to be okay in our project.

Tonight I checked the project to ensure that it is still alive and well I didn’t need to do any work to the project.

After the move from Millersville home I kept a constant eye on the project to ensure that it didn’t die due to the last harvest. It needed a little water but it is all well.

I went in on Friday to double check make sure that our system was functioning well. It was, and i needed to do nothing to the system.
Today Aaron and I checked our system and the plants did not look as green as they have been. Also some of them were starting to flatten. The water was pretty low so we added water and then proceeded to check our ph level which was at a good level. At the end of class Aaron and I harvested our plants for a second time.
Today Aaron and I checked on our system and were surprised to see that some of our plants were ready to harvest. We started the day by adding water and checking the ph level which was a little high. So we added some ph lowering powder and were able to get our ph level down to 5.7. After class we harvested about half of our plants and tried a leaf or two. They were delicious.
Today Connor concluded the research on a small lady bug we found on our project. After removing him safely (for his health and project survival) we undertook a side research to see if this little friend was good to have. As far as we know it is not a concern but no positive benefits have been named. I added more water today and ensured that i gave my plants a good pep-talk!
Last week Connor and I were experiencing a small set back which was due to Hurricane Sandy. So it was 1 week since we checked on our project all we had to do was add more water and ensure that our pH was stable. After all that was taken care of it was all ready to go for the weekend.
