I like to write because I like to tell the stories of other people. Organizing and collecting this information into a brief written format is a challenge, but it’s one that I enjoy. I love to convey and unveil these meanings, and to present them to a new readership. In a lot of ways, these stories may not be told otherwise. Therefore, I consider it my responsibility as a journalism student to tell these stories.
I also like to write to give my thoughts on films, books, and other media materials. Explaining my opinions in words allows countless opportunities to give my thoughts to others. Whether this be in a tweet, article, or essay, words help to get across my thoughts in a way that no other medium could.
Writing is certainly a powerful tool, and one that I will never take for granted. It has helped me get to where I me today, and it will help me along in my journey towards the future.
