Fantasy and Adventure by Scott MacHenry

I write because I have always written. I have been writing since before I can remember. Writing is a constant struggle, yet writing comes naturally to me. It’s a comfortable feeling sitting in front of my computer and typing away.

I like to write stories about great adventure that extends the imagination. I like telling stories in the science-fiction and fantasy genres.

I’ve published three short stories in Millersville University’s literary magazine, George Street Press. The Serpent’s Pawn is a police drama about a cop caught in a human trafficking scheme. Stranded is a Choose Your Own Adventure story centered around being stranded on a jungle island. Failure to Execute is a sci-fi war story about defending aliens from oppression.

I’m inspired by my favorite authors – J.K. Rowling, Claudia Gray, and James Luceno.
