I always wanted to play a sport, but didn’t know what sport. My freshmen year in high school the track coach pulled me out of class to talk about me throwing shot put for track. The learning experience I’m going to talking about is my first time throwing shot, and learning how to do it. Because it was the first time throwing, it was hard for me to hold it properly without it falling out my hands. The first couple of times, it kept slipping mid- throw, but once I got it down, I had to get the technique down. The technique was hard, this is what frustrated me the most, and still does today. My sophomore year, I finally got everything I needed to get down. Going to states championship I was nervous on how I would do, I ended up winning and becoming a state champ, and more success followed. All I needed to do was settling down and learn step by step. I use my strength futuristic, which is someone who is inspired by the future, and what it could be helped me through this learning process. When I wanted to give up on it my freshmen year, I thought about the future in shot put, and how if I stuck to it maybe I would receive some success. This is my learning experience from learning how to throw shot put.
