Brandon Lorenzon Course Portfolio

The Materials and processing project was an assignment where we learned how to laser engrave. In this project we used adobe illustrator to create our template for what we wanted our final creation to look like. We put our names and what else we wanted on the template where we then learned how to use the laser engraver to engrave the template on a piece of wood where we the made our own personalized keychains.

The 3-D printing project is where we learned how to use a program on what the basics of designing a 3-D model. We then learned how to use a 3-D printer to bring the model to life. This skill would help me in my major potentially in future classes when I need to make 3-D models for plans for how a project could look.

This report was one that will help me during my college career and after. This report showed me how to use the Millersville library how to use peer reviewed articles in my projects. My report was on the differences between materials such as concrete, wood, and steel. This would help me after my college career since my major is a construction management major. After college I want to be a project manager so knowing all the differences and how to use these materials would help me in my field of expertise.

My College career goal going into college has been to graduate with at least 3.0 GPA and then work as a project manager.
