When we came back from spring break we found that the water level was good for our four basil plants. The growth is taking some time and we are now finally seeing them poke up through the perlite. Is anyone else’s Basil taking some time to grow? We have our under the light and the water is making its way up through the perlite.

no me and my partner planted baby mescln and it is going slow. but i was wondering is basil fast of slower to grow?
Our pepper seeds are doing the same thing that your basil is doing, (and its not much). We moved our water level lower so that their was less water in our cups just in case if that would do anything. However I think it just takes longer for the Basil to grow.
We have basil and lettuce, our lettuce is growing fast, but our basil is very slow growing also compared to the lettuce. Are you having problems with the nutrients sinking to the bottom of the water container?
Only one out of our five plants has grown, so they are taking a while.Our peppers, radishes, and pea plants have not grown at all.
