Safety Engineering C

For our Safety Engineering activity, we were split into groups and given a fun scenario. As seen in the video above, there were two containers in the middle of the room inside of a hoola hoop. One of them contained “radioactive popcorn” and each team was tasked with building some device with our given materials that would move the popcorn from one container to the other without any body parts entering the space over the hoola hoop. Not only that, but we also had to set the original container back where it was, which proved a difficult task.
This was a fun team-building exercise and required a lot of innovation to build a device to do what we needed it to do. I believe the team I was on got the fastest time!
