Electronics

This was our last activity: electronics. The assignment was to create a light-up Christmas decoration that contained some sort of switch mechanism using a battery, and LED, some copper tape, and other basic tools and supplies. My switch was a sort of normal-open push button that required you to press on the center to light up the LED.

I decided to make mine shaped like a cross to bring my attention back to the real meaning of Christmas: the birth of Jesus.

It was cool in this activity to take the knowledge I have gained from my electronics class I also took this fall and apply it to this class. Because I am taking that class, creating a working electrical circuit on the inside of my ornament was not a difficult task.
