Description:

Hobbs Hall demolition is well underway.  Large equipment has arrived on site to complete the heavier demolition tasks.  There will be an increase in truck traffic hauling the demolition debris away along Centennial Drive and Shenks Lane.

 Closure Timeframe:

Beginning date:  February 21, 2014 7:00 a.m.
Ending date:  March 28, 2014 7:00 p.m.

Campus Impact:

Several parking spaces have been secured for safety reasons during the demolition activities.  There will be increased truck traffic along Centennial Drive and Shenks Lane.  As a safety precaution, the construction fence line may be adjusted in the future when demolishing the ends of the wings.  Alternate pathways will be placed for pedestrian traffic.  All personnel, especially resident students, should exercise caution in and around this area.  For personal safety, obey posted signage.

We are sorry for the inconvenience this issue may cause and ask that you contact Facilities Management at x3275 or x3282 if you have any questions.  Thank you for your cooperation during this event.
