The newsletter is produced by the University Honors College with the support of the Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. An electronic version will be posted on the University Honors College website as well as the University homepage, and it will be shared with alumni, prospective students, colleagues throughout the PASSHE and other friends of the University. I want to thank Wendy Sheaffer and Amy Dmitzak of Communications and Marketing for their assistance in producing this first issue.
The University Research Newsletter will appear once in the fall and once in the spring of each academic year. Even as we prepare for the second issue, which will be published in April, we are making plans to revise, expand and improve on this inaugural issue. We aim for a more comprehensive second issue and we welcome faculty and staff suggestions on how to achieve this goal.
In January we will again solicit information for inclusion in the expanded spring edition. Please respond when information is requested so we can provide a thorough statement of the range and sophistication of faculty and student-faculty collaborative research, which is the wellspring of creative engagement at Millersville University.
On behalf of the student writers and editors, thank you for your support of this important University initiative.
