Reflect & Connect

November 10, 2010
at 6:30 p.m.
Ford Atrium, McComsey Hall

The Reflect & Connect series involves a discussion around a short, interesting text about community service that invites members of Millersville’s community to come together to reflect on service and then sign up to connect to the community through volunteer opportunities.

Dr. Carole Counihan: Professor of Sociology & Anthropology and food anthropologist—with special expertise in the Slow Food Movement–will facilitate our November session around the text, “The Pleasures of Eating,” from food activist Wendell Barry’s book, What Are People For?

Free and open to the public

Please RSVP to help us plan refreshments and seating at Reflect.Connect@millersville.edu or 872-3776
