Description:

Emergency repairs will be made to the domestic hot water system in Lyle Hall. 

Construction Timeframe:

Beginning Date: Tuesday – December 2, 2014 10:00 a.m.
Ending Date: Tuesday – December 2, 2014 7:00 p.m.

Campus Impact:

 No domestic hot water will be available in the building during repairs.

The Cove will maintain normal operating hours. 

Decision on whether the North Side Bistro will be open for dinner is pending further investigation of the hot water system.

As part of the Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade Project, an electrical outage is schedule for South Village Residence Hall, McComsey Hall, Palmer and Bishop Buildings. 

Construction Timeframe:

Beginning Date: Friday, November 28, 2014 10:00 a.m.
Ending Date: Friday, November 28, 2014 2:00 p.m.

Campus Impact:

This power outage will impact data and phone services as follows:

  • South Village will not have any power.  Data and phone will still remain operational. 
  • McComsey Hall will not have any power, data or phone service. 
  • Dauphin, Armstrong, Allegheny, Susquehanna, Cumberland and Fulton Houses will not have any data or phone service.    
  • Palmer and Bishop Buildings will not have any power, data or phone service.
  • Montgomery and Blair Houses will not have any data or phone service. 

Buildings with emergency generators will have the essential life safety measures powered. 

 NOTE: This notice is a combined Information Technology and Facilities message.

Campus Impact:

 The ATM will not be operational during this time period.  Please use other ATM locations on campus.

Power to all three buildings will be secured for the designated time period.  The emergency generator will be operational during this period for egress lighting and card access system.

Campus Impact: 

Four parking spaces will be closed.  Contractor’s trucks will also be present.  Please exercise caution when walking or driving in and around this location.

Student Lodging Inc. Projects: Shenks Lane Commuter Parking Lot Changes for Red Rose Campus Shuttle Route

Entering and exiting the Student Lodging, Inc. commuter parking lot east of Shenks Lane has been changed to accommodate the Red Rose campus shuttle route and other large vehicles (see attached sketch). Shenks Lane Commuter Parking Lot

Beginning Date: August 7, 2014 12:00 p.m.
Ending Date: No end date – permanent change

Campus Impact: 

The parking lot entry and exit have been changed in preparation of the Fall 2014 semester.  Signage has been posted accordingly.  Please take note of the new vehicle circulation and exercise caution while traveling in this area.

Pay for Print – Student Printing

Re: Pay for Print – Student Printing

Starting in the Fall 2014 semester as recommended by Student Senate and approved by Cabinet, students will receive a 500 print allocation and will be charged $.25 per print over their allocation.    Students will use their Marauder Gold account to pay for any print charges.

Demonstrations on the Pay-for-Print system and open Q&A sessions are scheduled in Boyer Room 231 on:
