This activity was to understand the idea of materials processing. In this case we were focusing on the subtractive process rather than the additive process. Each person created their own personalized file and laser engrave a piece of cherry wood. My fab came out like this and later with a hole in the bottom left hand corner. After it was printed, I personally took to the woods lab and sanded it, rounded the edges, and added finish on it.
